Nuno felt experiment

During the International Feltmakers Association’s excellent conference & AGM in Bath last April I spent a happy day screen printing onto fabric with the view to use it as a base for nuno felting.

As the piece of fabric was quite small and fabric in nuno felt usually ends up shrinking a lot, I decided to use the piece in a slightly different way than I ordinarily would by cutting out a load of pre-felt shapes and felting them onto the base fabric.
