A studio to call my own

Having worked from my dining room table for the past few years, I am delighted to have found a temporary studio space in the artisan quarter of my town.

A former run-down bargain store waiting to be transformed into a restaurant with accomodation above, for now the space is filling with little shops and creative types.

I have been spending the past 2 weeks stripping gloss paint of the beautiful Victorian bay windows of my room and planning and building the interior fittings. As it is only a temporary space, I’m doing this on the cheap with most of the materials found or donated – living up to the Dutch stereo type!
